Enigma — Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Enigma collects, why, and how it is used and removed. By inviting Enigma to your Discord server or using its dashboard, you agree to this policy. See also our Terms of Service.

1. Data We Store

Enigma stores only what its features need to work:

Server settings — server ID, channel IDs, role IDs, and the configuration choices made by server administrators (logging, welcome messages, AutoMod, anti-nuke, temporary voice channels, tickets, giveaways, self-roles, and similar settings).
User IDs linked to features — for example invite statistics (who invited whom, join/leave counts), ticket creators and ticket history, moderation records, giveaway entries, and staff statistics.
Content created by administrators — saved embeds, message templates, canned ticket replies, autoresponder triggers, sticky messages, and custom greetings set up for a server.
Dashboard login — when you sign in to the dashboard with Discord, we receive your Discord user ID, username, and avatar from Discord, and use a session cookie to keep you signed in.

2. Message Content

Some features — such as message logging, ticket transcripts, and autoresponders — process message content in real time to deliver that feature to the server that enabled it (for example, posting a deleted-message log to the server's own log channel). Message content is not stored in Enigma's database and is not read, collected, or used for any other purpose.

3. How Data Is Used

Stored data is used only to operate the features it belongs to: applying server settings, counting invites, running giveaways and tickets, and showing your servers in the dashboard. We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or analytics beyond the bot's own features.

4. Data Sharing

We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for their own purposes. Enigma runs on the following service providers, which process data only to host the bot:

Discord — the platform Enigma operates on.
Railway — application hosting.
MongoDB Atlas — database hosting for the stored settings and records listed above.

5. Data Retention and Removal

Server data is kept while Enigma is in the server and the related features are configured. Removing Enigma from a server stops all future data collection for that server. Server administrators may request deletion of their server's stored data, and users may request deletion of data linked to their user ID, at any time through our support server (see Section 7). Requests are completed within 30 days.

6. Cookies

The dashboard uses a single session cookie to keep you signed in after Discord login. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version will always be available at this page, and continued use of Enigma after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
